Better Now, Better Tomorrow
Therapy for Adults, Couples, Families, & Groups
My therapeutic practice includes individual, group, and couples counseling to those who need guidance navigating through crisis and conflicts, grief, depression and other emotional life issues. I also offer specialized training in addiction counseling. Psychotherapy is an effective tool in addressing issues that interfere with recovery. People struggling with addictions, and their loved ones, greatly benefit from therapy that guides them to a deeper insight than with 12-step work alone. As a recovering professional, I utilize an array of tools to assist clients, bringing into the therapeutic process my own 25-year recovery history with various types of recovery experience

Emergency Information
I understand that emergencies arise. Since I’m an independent psychotherapist in private practice, I’m
not able to provide emergency coverage for clients on an “on call” basis. If an urgent mental health
issue emerges, please call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225 or 911, or visit
Ridgeview Institute or your nearest Emergency Room so that you can get the immediate care and
attention that you need. If you do access emergency services, please contact me after you have
received care and update me on your status.
Cancellations & Recheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible, as that
session slot could be utilized by another client. Please note that 24-hour advance cancellation or
rescheduling of appointments is required in order to avoid being billed for the session. If you cancel or
reschedule an appointment within the 24-hour time frame, or do not show up for an appointment, you
will be charged your full session fee.
Sessions may be scheduled by telephone, email and by self-scheduling through my online practice
management system.
Insurance Coverage Information
It is your responsibility to pay for each session in full at the time of service.
I am not currently listed as a mental health provider on provider lists or panels, however my services
are covered under many out-of-network insurance plans. I am happy to provide you with receipts
which may be used to request reimbursement from your insurance company, and will provide you with
year-end documentation to assist you in your annual tax preparation. I am able to offer insurance
claim filing as a courtesy to my clients.
